Photoshoots are occasions full of action with designers, photographers, stylists, and movers. Add COVID to the situation, and there is a whole new set of challenges. Ann Lowengart Interiors seamlessly faced the new norm when photographing a unique, completed project in Ross. The shingled three-story Arts & Crafts style house combines the client's love of vibrant shades and bold pattern, mixing the native Californian's antiques and art with contemporary furnishings for a fresh and current look.

Annie Lowengart painted the coffered ceiling living room white to highlight the draperies fabricated from Galbraith & Paul, Sumi fabric in a green and blue colorway. She chose a contrast piping in the client's favorite color, carmine-pink, which she echoed in the adjacent library. The dining room continues the serene color palette with a custom colored Fromental's Willow wallpaper using an ocean blue ground, green pods, gray branches, and blush accent dots.

The client graciously vacated her residence during the photoshoot, which lasted several days and included the entry, living room, library, dining room, family room, den, kitchen, breakfast area, bar, powder rooms, and master bedroom. Annie rewarded her with a beautifully styled and accessorized home upon her return. Not only did she love the results, but it was ready for her to entertain guests that weekend. She didn't even need to buy fresh flowers.
