House Beautiful features California pool house by Ann Lowengart Interiors

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing your work published in the glossy pages of a national shelter magazine. It’s a certain prestige that honors the work we put in every day as designers and creators. As summer comes to end, and exciting new projects get underway, we are working harder than ever at Ann Lowengart Interiors to make beautiful, happy homes for our clients.

House Beautiful Feature

This month, we accomplished a long time goal: To be on the pages of House Beautiful, a publication that we read regularly and really admire! The July/August issue of the magazine highlights Benjamin Moore's 'Mexicali Blue,' a color we used for a tranquil California pool house. See the feature below or on our website. Feature

Ann Lowengart Interiors was also honored to be included in House Beautiful's online story about the exciting new trend of marbled wallpaper. The story featured the bright pink, mural-like covering that we used for a young girl's room in a home in Tiburon, California.

“This young girl's room becomes a vibrant dream when hot pink and rose gold marble hits the walls,” notes

Marin Design Awards Nominee

Ann Lowengart Interiors was also nominated for the 2017 Marin Design Awards in the Interior Design category. Annie was humbled to be considered amongst all the other highly talented designers but really loved the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony (aka. "hit the town - Shirley Temple style") with her daughter (pictured below).

What a great year this has been.  Not only have I hit a few milestones that are really important to me, but even better, I have come alongside some of the most amazing people.  I’ve been honored to really transform their everyday living by transforming the spaces in which they live. Additionally, whether it’s learning about the inner workings of a household name tech company, how to get a private equity deal done in the Middle East, or how to beat the you-know-what out of cancer, who would have known being an interior designer could be so edifying?  I have to say it again; I am just so grateful God has given me a career that I could have only dreamt about. I have no words.  Thanks for being along for the ride.
